After much troweling and manipulating the shower floor is pitched to satisfaction. We’ll see what happens when actual water hit the tiles and it has to drain. Anchor row of wall tiles are in.
In this particular situation I did not want to take a chance and have tile slippage half way up the wall, which would create havoc on a straight grout line. So to be on the safe side, I installed the first row of wall tile almost on the floor, well shimmed to form a straight line. Next the rest of tiles will go up. Then the floor tiles, followed by tiles outside of the shower.
Is that a glimmer of Christmas lights?
