After some very calculated tugging and wrestling, with a little slicing and dicing, the kitchen and living room floors merged.

Meeting of two rooms into one seemless floor is always a challenge. Given old walls that are never perpendicular, makes it even more articulate. Throw in the mix a meeting point which carries the eye from entrance all the way across the living room to exit at the front veranda. No room for slight deviation. Much patience and time resulted in a seemless floor.

On to merging the rest of the floor with the guest bedroom. No unforeseen challenges there. But then again….
